At the heart of Brussels historical centre, 920 m of tramway make it possible to leave Royale street in order to serve the central station and the museums. Streetscape retrofitting and landscaping are French-inspired : the pedestrianization of the Marché au Bois square and the implementation of one-way tracks establish peace in the district ; wide ground areas in Hainaut blue stone install and celebrate these new uses, in conherence with Brussels urban landscape.
