> the facade
Opposite the large botanical garden, the new embassy settles. Dressed in glass and aluminium on the outside, and in wood, stone and leather on the inside, the embassy articulates around three spaces: the atrium, the chancellery and the loggia facade. The atrium, bathed in filtered zenith light through rods of sycamore; the chancellery and the ambassador’s chamber with its magnificent decoration: handcrafted leather and wood-panelled alleyways; the loggia facade, with its white aluminium panels and stainless steel profiles, shelters the access to the embassy and the national symbol.
